The curriculum of Laureate School endeavours to promote the culture of growth and education among its students by offering an academic programme conducted by the CBSE.
Laureate’s curriculum is largely defined, including academics, enrichment, and residential life. It is our belief that those students who take active participation in holistic learning are best prepared to live expressive, positive lives, and are equipped to make valuable contributions to the society around.
Our academic programme is carefully developed to meet the educational needs of our students from 3rd standard to 12th. Our teachers use a creative approach in their classes, and take advantage of the supportive environment, drawing upon advanced technology.
There are three streams for +2 and a student can opt for five subjects and one extra subject as per his/her interest.
1-Science Stream – English (Core), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics/ Physical Education/ Economics/ Web Applications
2-Commerce Stream – English (Core), Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics/ Physical Education/ Web Applications OR English (Core), Accountancy,
3-Arts Stream – English (Core), Economics, History, Political Science, Hindi, Sociology, Physical Education/ Economics/ Web Applications OR English (Core), Hindi,
Pre Primary School (KG to Grade II)
At the Pre-Primary years, the objective is to facilitate learning by creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for them to learn joyfully.
Teaching Pedagogy is child centric and activity oriented using numerous teaching aids: Power Point, flashcards, pictures, actual objects, storytelling, dramatization and role play, etc.
Primary School (Grade III to V)
The Primary School aims to inculcate foundational knowledge in various subjects in our young students. The focus is on reading and writing, language comprehension, math, critical thinking and inter-personal skills. The key subjects are English, Hindi, mathematics, EVS, art & craft, computer science and physical education.
The Middle Section (Grade VI to VIII)
The middle section aims to give a jump to the knowledge assimilated in the foundation years and to further strengthen the basics of the student.
A lot of emphasis is given to spoken English. Activities to polish their oratory skills are held and children are encouraged to think out of the box and enhance their creative abilities.
The Senior Section (Grade IX to XII)
The Senior Section starts from classes 9 to 12 is where our young learners transform into indIviduals who are ready to carve a niche for themselves. Growth and development is not just about managing the curriculum but understanding our strengths, fortifying them further and honing our talents. The aim is to imbibe knowledge and also emerge as an individual with a personality that exudes confidence along with mannerism that highlights a positive social bearing.
